How to perform salah

A detailed account of how to say Salah is given in the internet. Here is a short description, how to perform salah, and links to wallpapers with transliteration and translation salah texts. 1. ‘Iqamah.
2. Having intention for prayer.
3. Takbir Tahrimah.
4. Dua Al-Istiftah. Picture with text of dua Al-Istiftah here.
5. Ta’awwuz “A’uzu bil-lahi minash Shayta-nir-rajeem”.
6. Reciting surah Al-Fatiha. Picture with text and transliteration of surah al-Fatiha here.

8. Ruku (bowing the body until the palms are on the knees).
9. While in Ruku, recite the following supplication: “Sub-hana Rabbi-al ‘ajeem” 3 times. Translation: “Glory to my Lord the Exalted”.
10. I’tidal or Qawmah (Standing After Ruku) While the body is raising up, an additional option is to read: “Sami ‘allah hu liman hamida” (“Allah Listens to him who praises Him”). During standing, an additional option is to read: “Rab-bana lakal hamd” (“Our Lord, to You is due all praise”).
11. Sajdah (Prostration). Before going to the Sajdah, recite Alla-hu Akbar.
12. While in Sajdah, recite the following supplication: “Sub-hana Rabbi yal a’la” 3 times. Translation: “Oh Allah, glory be to you, the most High”.
13. Jalsah (Sitting between two Sajdah). To rise and sit from the first Sajdah, recite Alla-hu Akbar.
14. Recite Alla-hu Akbar before going to the second Sajdah.
15. Before starting second rakath, say Alla-hu Akbar and stand up now.
16. Sekond rakath. Then recite Tasmiah and surah Fatiha. After Fatiha, recite tasmiah and another surah (picture with surah al Asr) and proceed to Ruku by saying Alla-hu Akbar. Carry on the acts till the second Sajdah.
17. After second Sajdah, say Alla-hu Akbar, but sit down for reciting Tashahud. Picture with text of Tashahud is here.
18. Salat Alan-Nabi (Darud) – Salutation to the Prophet. Picture with text of greetings to the Prophet Muhammad is here.
19. After Salat Alan-Nabi, recite the dua.
20. Look towards your right shoulder and say it once then look towards your left shoulder and say it once again: “As-salamu ‘alaykum wa rah-matul lah” (“Peace be on you and the mercy of Allah”).
